San Antonio’s favorite “queer bass” musician Pink Leche is set to drop his first musical release: House of Relaxation, a split EP with local electronic artist Xy!o, aka Sam Shebin. This Friday, the two musicians come together for a release party at Bottom Bracket Social Club.
On the EP’s title track and sole collaboration, the two artists create a musical mashup of house, hip-hop and R&B. “I will knit you a sweater, I will Netflix your ass off,” Pink Leche sings in all his sassiness.
If you have yet to experience a Pink Leche show, be prepared for an explosion of pink vinyl tape, masked dancers and high-energy dance tracks — all of which have become hallmarks of his live performances.
