LGBTQ families, some with pets in tow, will descend on Crockett Park on Sunday, April 14 for an afternoon of hot dogs, burgers, games, an Easter egg hunt and a visit by the Easter Bunny.

The event, the 7th Annual LGBTQ Community Easter Celebration, is organized by Pride Center SA’s Pride Families, a social group for LGBT parents.

Organizers with Pride Families say events like this one allow LGBTQ and ally families to meet others with kids and helps them form lasting relationships and networks.

The event announcement encourages everyone to invite their friends who have children.

There will be plenty of activities for the kids. The event is free but organizers ask attendees to RSVP so they have enough food for everybody.

Pride Families Easter Celebration, Sunday, April 14  from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at The Center and across the street at Crockett Park playground area. Click on this link to RSVP for this event. Donations and sponsorships are welcome.
