The Uptown Studio brings together local, LGBTQ artists for a night of music and art aimed to unite and inform the community. All proceeds from the event benefit Pride Center San Antonio, a resource center for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and HIV communities. Uptown Studio owner Stephan Gaeth and rapper Chris Conde organized the event, which features music form queer bass artist Pink Leche, soul/electro singer Alyson Alonso and of course, Chris himself. In addition to live music, Rainbowstarchild, a fiber-art performance, fashion collective, and queer-based, Panza fusion dance troupe Zombie Bazaar will perform. Local artisans Dani Dickson, Las Ofrendas, Very That, and Lovely Minivans will also be selling their handmade work at the event. The folks from Pride Center San Antonio will have an information booth set up to bring awareness to their mission. Learn about their resources and support a great organization within our community.
