San Antonio’s female LGBT community can now support their HRC chapter while enjoying lesbian and queer centered nights at the Phantom Room. The San Antonio Human Rights Campaign chapter is presenting the first in a series of HRC women’s events, HRC for Her, this Thursday. According to the HRC’s promotional statement on the event, “HRC for Her is a series of social events where lesbians and other women can meet and learn more about HRC and how we work with the community.”
The events will be held conveniently in conjunction with the Cock Block Thursdays, the Phantom Room’s ongoing DJ and lesbian night, which features bands, local queer DJs, or burlesque or drag king shows.
The Phantom Room has not revealed the musical entertainment for the night just yet, but there will be live music, drink specials, no cover charge, and an HRC information table. HRC San Antonio is encouraging a five-dollar donation, which includes a one year renewable HRC membership.
