A cabaret showcase of “brown skin, full bodies, and round behinds”

Come celebrate queer people of color & bodies of all shapes and sizes!

allgo: A Statewide Organization for Queer People of Color based in Austin is hosting its bi-annual drag and burlesque celebration Friday, July 17, at the North Door. Following performances from local, regional, and international artists, there will be a dance party with music provided by a DJ. Doors are at 7:00 PM and the show begins at 8:00 PM.

“This is a time when it is vital for our community to join together as we celebrate bodies of all shapes and sizes, and in celebrating queer bodies of color, show we not only matter, but thrive and flourish in the fiercest ways possible,” said the event’s producer and returning hostess Foxxy Blue Orchid, AKA Dino Foxx.

The cabaret show has moved to a larger venue this year (with a larger stage, too) and Foxx promises an even more fabulous event with “room for the whole community to shake, laugh, and cheer!”

San Francisco based bearded drag luminary Grace Towers will headline the event. Other artists to be featured include:

Maxxy Radd (AKA Logan Magz)
Lola LeStrange
Fat Bottom Cabaret
Nikki DaVaughn
Jasper St James
Kristi Waters
Aaron Andrews
Aurora Hart
Ruby Lamb
Queertini Time
Kitty Sangria
Remi Martini
Chola Magnolia

Once the performances have concluded, San Antonio based DJ Cros Esquivel (of The Push Pens and Paint By Numbers) will provide Old School, Soul, R&B, Hip-hop, Bounce, Booty, Disco, and cumbias for attendees to dance the night away.

Tickets to the show, which is an 18+ event, can be purchased online for $10 and will be $15 at the door.
