Support Project Embrace at a classic film screening

Enjoy candy, bubbles, and a classic film screening to raise money for Project Embrace

In celebration of National Chocolate Day, Out In SA is hosting a viewing of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory at Alamo Drafthouse Park North on September 10 at 6 p.m.

Guests will receive a candy gift at the door and are encouraged to bring their own bubbles for a fun interactive experience. There will also be an opportunity to find a Golden Ticket of your very own for a door prize!

The candy-filled film is suitable for people of all ages and will definitely appeal to kids! If you have any younger family members who haven’t seen the classic movie yet, seeing it for the first time on the big screen with bubbles floating in the air will be a memorable experience.

The event is a fundraiser for Project Embrace. Money raised from ticket sales will go towards the organization’s efforts to create an LGBTQ committee to foster empowerment of all LGBTQ youth, as well as provide mentorship for the LGBTQ population, advocacy and support for all LGBTQ youth to receive culturally appropriate social services in San Antonio, and education to all San Antonio social service agencies regarding LGBTQ youth.

Tickets can be purchased online.
