The Artist Foundation invites you to party like an elf

The $5,000 sponsorship level for the Artist Foundation Elf Ball includes this limited-edition print by Lloyd Walsh and Hare & Hound Press.

Elf Ball
Thursday December 4, 7-11pm
BRICK, Blue Star Arts Complex, 108 Blue Star

Over the past eight years, the Artist Foundation has mastered the art of giving directly to artists, awarding more than $500,000 in grants to San Antonio creatives. This December, the Artist Foundation tackles a new gift: holiday magic. Naughty or nice, it’s time to don your pointiest shoes and your merriest bells because the Elf Ball is coming to town.

For one night only, the Artist Foundation of San Antonio transforms BRICK into a fantastic winter wonderland. Patricia Pratchett, one of the founders of the Artist Foundation, promises, “This will be another Artist Foundation signature event in the tradition of our previous Art Balls … festive, high-spirited, artist-inspired fun!”

And what jolly delights does the Artist Foundation promise this merry winter’s eve? DJ Arturo Cueller will keep the elf’s jumping. Stella, Hot Joy, Starfish, FOLC, and Bakery Lorraine provide the edible treats, and Park Social brings sweet libations for the tasting. Julia Langenberg will dare feats of aerial intrigue while local artists provide holiday goods for the art auction.

The Elf Ball is also a snappy alternative to your company’s humdrum holiday party. Event chairperson Terri Timmins Rodgers explains: “The standard holiday party has been elevated and given a whimsical twist.” Companies may purchase various sponsorship levels (such as the Ho! Ho! Ho! $5,000 sponsor) for a sackful of goodies and fun, including champagne, exclusive artist-made gifts, signage, and VIP status.

Proceeds from the night will go toward the Artist Foundation’s ongoing grant program. And of course, all tickets are tax deductible and can be purchased online or by calling (210) 262-8653.
