Orgüllo de San Antonio, LGBTQ LULAC Council #22198 provided emergency food assistance to families and individuals in response to the COVID-19 health crisis.

The LULAC COVID-19 Relief Campaign aims to address the increased needs of our community during the current health pandemic. Under this campaign, LGBTQ LULAC Council #22198 in partnership with the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES) provided food assistance in the form of gift cards from the grocery chain, H.E.B. Two head of households both with children received food assistance. Additionally, two Senior citizens were presented with H.E.B. gift cards.

The focus of the LULAC COVID-19 Relief Campaign is to provide relief for families and individuals in food insecurity and general relief in our community. LGBTQ LULAC Council #22198 is proud to join the National LULAC Institute, Inc. to address the needs of communities being disproportionally affected by COVID-19 around the United States and in Puerto Rico.
