Dinner and Dancing on the Menu at Dignity San Antonio’s Annual Fall Ball

It’s time to shine up your dancing shoes and get out your best party dress in anticipation of Dignity San Antonio’s annual Fall Ball Dinner Dance slated for November 10 at the El Tropicano Riverwalk Hotel.

Founded in 1976, Dignity San Antonio provides a safe space for local LGBT Catholics to reconcile, heal and integrate their sexuality with their spirituality. Having been banned from worshiping as a group in local Catholic churches, Dignity SA has worshiped in meeting halls, the homes of members and in the sanctuaries of Protestant churches which have welcomed the group. They continue to hold weekly services for their members.

The Fall Ball is one of Dignity’s major outreach and fundraising events of the year and includes dinner, dancing and a prize raffle. For those who want to make a night of it, the hotel is providing discount pricing for those who want accommodations for the evening.

Dignity San Antonio’s Fall Ball Dinner Dance, Saturday, November 10 from 6 p.m. to midnight at El Tropicano Riverwalk Hotel, 110 Lexington Ave. Cocktail hour begins at 6 p.m.; dinner at 7 p.m.; and dancing at 8 p.m. Admission is $45 per person. Tables which seat 10 people can be reserved. For tickets and information call Elena Guajardo at 210-778-5300.
