Drag King Revolt to Raise Funds for P.E.A.C.E. Initiative

The drag community is one of many shades.

For as long as drag queens have existed, drag kings have been perfecting the art of male impersonation.

On December 3, the “zombois” of the popular dance group  Zombie Bazaar Panza Fusion will present the Drag King Revolt, an all drag king revue to be held at the Jump-Start Theatre.

The evening will feature a wide-ranging list of performers the San Antonio area.

Proceeds from this event will go towards the non-profit  P.E.A.C.E. Initiative whose mission is to “educate the community about the extent, and often deadly consequences of domestic violence.”

The “zombois” hope to make this a quarterly event.

Drag King Revolt, 7:30 p.m., Sat Dec. 3, Jump-Start Performance Company, 710 Fredericksburg Road. $10 at the door and $8 in advance. Purchase tickets here.  (210) 227-5867, jump-start.org
