The latest edition of The Drag King Revolt, a revue featuring San Antonio’s only drag king troupe, Los MENtirosos, hits the stage on June 29 at La Botanica.
The revue, titled Puro Pride, features performances by Los MENtirosos regulars SirGio, Mitch, Buck Orchid, Pancho Panza and Tupac Shaker.
The show includes guest performances by Drag Kings Johnny Dinero and Papi Churro from Austin. Emcee for the evening is Gacho Marx with music provided by DJ De La O. This is a queer women produced show.
The evening will feature audience participation games and a lip-sync contest.
