Emerald Ball Burlesque Show to Benefit Pride Center

Performers for the fifth annual Emerald Ball at Heat Nightclub are busy readying wigs, gowns and spangles for their March 13 fundraiser benefiting Pride Center San Antonio.

The burlesque drag show will feature the talents of performers, Remi Martini, Pystol Whips, Anny Conda, Tencha la Jefa, Ada Vox, Kristi Waters, Maxxy Radd, Fat Bottom Cabaret, Nikki DaVaughn, Jasper St. James, Stephan, Black Orchid, Squirrely Temple and Miss Lucky Strike.

Headliners for the stage show are the “reigning queen and king of San Antonio Burlesque,” Chola Magnolia from Austin and JD Hickcock from Houston.

Hostess for the evening is Foxxy Blue Orchid who beckoned in the press announcement, “Join us for yet another high energy and ultra sultry evening of burlesque and drag as we come together for the fifth year of raising money for the Pride Center San Antonio. This is guaranteed to be an evening of show-stopping performances.”

According to the announcement, “Pride Center San Antonio is closer than ever to having a full community center to provide resources and programming to the LGBTQ community and will be launching a new capital campaign in the coming year.”
