Two dollar mimosas, brunch, and a drag show by the Lusty Busty Girls await guests of Knockout’s upcoming Big Gay Brunch. Proceeds from this Sunday’s event benefit the Texas Gay Rodeo Association (TGRA), a non-profit which has raised over two million dollars for Texas charities since 1983.

The TGRA is a completely volunteer-run organization dedicated to raising money for Texas charities while elevating the image of men and women in Texas Rodeo.

In addition to its annual rodeo, the TGRA holds rodeo shows across the state of Texas throughout the year. In true fiesta fashion, rodeo shows also feature a royal court. Funds raised primarily benefit AIDS-centered services, but also support women’s health projects, breast cancer relief, disaster relief, and children’s programs.

The Big Gay Brunch benefiting TGRA, Sunday, August 5 at Knockout Sports Bar, 1420 N. Main. Admission is free. Doors open and brunch is served at 11:30 a.m. The show starts at 12:00 p.m.
